Our dog is trumping (not loudly but very definitely deadly) and is making our home decidedly unpleasant. So much so that we've decided to go out to eat. Trouble is that we don't go out very often - so can ayone recommend a curry restaurant - Wombwellish please. Thanking you in advance ladies and gentlmen.
Dougie Lee's!!! Jesus, Tyrone, you've just took me right back to my youth when Wombweell High St had a 'Woolies' and we used to pay rent on our telly and washing machine at D.E.R.
are you off blythe street area ty?,i was born on cemetary road, number 12,used to go the barnsley road and john street schools
my first push bike,a Greasham Flyer was from dougie lees, his shop was about fifty yards from our house, spent a few hours on brookes car park learning to ride that bike.
...and Pendlebury's chippy, just across the road, best by a country mile. Poor lad only asked for a resteraunt recommend and its ended being a walk down Wombwell Memory Lane
My Grandma lived on Blythe St, and my Dad when my folks divorced. It was a real good community on there 'back in day'. You been lately? Bronx or Sheffield Manor Top springs to mind.
What about Balti Palace on High Street. Been a couple of times and enjoyed it, but it was a while ago. You travel a little further into Stairfoot and try the Cardamom Lounge had a quite a few meals there and enjoyed them, Take your own booze as well.
Best option is to buy a kennel and keep the dog outside if you have the room ....best for the dog too .
What about John Guests on the corner of High Street and Church Street where you could buy your school evapressed trousers from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
