    I can't see them lying about it although it may be a tad misleading whilst still being true. They extended the Early Bird last year into May so we could have sold more by the end of the Early Bird last year but not more by the end of April.

    Not such a surprise - at the end of April last year we hadnt even qualified for the playoffs so league 1 football looked most likely
    end of April this year we knew exactly where we would finish and be guaranteed championship football this season. I guess there was a surge in sales after our Wembley win
    This season there is no playoff victory to give us the boost so we will sell far fewer tickets in May June and July than we did last season. I expect we will see a slight dip in ST sales overall as a few wont renew for various reasons (Health, moving away, unhappy that we sold players etc) and there are unlikely to be too many new ST puchases
