FFS !!! Frightening. No - really really frightening!!! Can honestly say - I do NOT want to meet or associate with anyone who believes this 'music' is acceptable. Summert very wrong - jeeez
Come on mate it's not Coldplay the fellas listening to. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
My last album purchase must be over 20 years ago and may have been "Camembert Electrique" by Gong because I couldn't find any of the songs on Napster.....
Being a dyed in the wool metalhead I've never been a fan of Gorillaz but they do seem to be excessively over hyped.
I like some of their stuff not all. The new album isn't really hitting my sweet spot I have to admit.
Do you sometimes find if you get too much new music that you're not always able to give a new purchase the time it needs? Those albums you don't "get" on first few listens.
Switching to buying vinyl has helped me give things a good go as I buy less and they are more expensive. When I used to buy Cds I have quite literally hundreds I bought and have listened to once as I didn't get them straightaway. I always thought I'd go back but doesn't look likely.
I just keep buying everything that falls into the niche genres that I like or on labels that have a good reputation and end up with too much stuff. Dunt stop me though!
Apart from a few complelation sets for car the last proper album i brought was in 2015. Hurriers. From acorns mighty oaks. I tend just to pick prefered tracks off spotify now rather than an a whole album thats half a dozen good songs surrounded by filler.
