Think it's been mentioned before but Alan Nixon has just tweeted we're after them again! Question is are they permanent or loans? And if perm are they for u23s or will they be straight into first team: Liam Walsh, 19 year old midfielder at Everton made 15 appearances at Yeovil last season Tyler Roberts, 18 year old winger/striker at West Brom. Highly rated and made 1 appearance for WB also made 14 apps on loan at oxford and a further 13 scoring 4 at Shrewsbury on loan last season. Harry Wilson, liverpools u23's captain. He's a 20 year old winger rightly rated and was on loan at Crewe in 2015. Add to this other rumours of perm transfers: Stevie Mallan, 21 year old central midfielder at st Mirran. Scored 22 goals in Scottish championship. Harvey Rodgers, 20 year old centre half out of contract at hull. Finished a successful loan at acrinton Stanley Conor McLaughlin, 25 year old right back. Out of contract after leaving fleetwood where he got into league 1 team of the season Some interesting names popping up! I'd like them all, however I fear the first 3 mentioned will either be in the hedges mould will dip into the u23s for further development or will be this years Ryan kents on a season long loan. What's everyone's thoughts?
Jack Price, 24 year old midfielder from Wolves. We were linked with him last week. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Quite worrying, we need to get the balance right, so hoping we bring a coupe of more experienced players to compliment the inevitable youngsters with lower league experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We don't do experience though do we! Think Paul will rely on that from hamill, Roberts and the likes of mowatt with his 100 odd games under his belt
Forgot to mention Connor Mahoney! 20 year old winger at Blackburn! Made 16 appearances for them before relegation!
Re top 3 you mention. These types of players will be loans. Expect us to be fielding 4-5 each game. If we go for youth then we will need to keep dining from the top table. Kent was a bit of a mixed bag last year I thought. Skill full enough to cause problems / create space, but with very little in the way of end product. (Goal vs Leeds an exception). He is the type we will get though, a bit raw, but with a fair bit of talent & promise. If we are paying bugger all in wages, then we'll be doing it again. Others will depend on competition for their signings at our level.
No seriously who would you like to see us sign your quick to jump on the fans or the clubs suggested signings every 2 mins.... so go on who would you like to see us sign?
Is money no object? I've heard that Messi lad is quite tasty and Gareth Bale has already trained with Bradshaw. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
I did mean realistically for example kevin long is one alot of people mention. I'm just interested to see who the experienced players people would realistically like us to try sign.
