    ......which is awash with cash and trying to build a fanbase has already figured out that placing a limitation of three non-Chinese players per team is the way forward, then why the fck is the Premier League still failing to understand this?

    1) The PL is about mainly keeping a closed shop of largely the same clubs;
    2) The PL makes a large element of its money by TV sales abroad; and
    3) Almost all the clubs are foreign owned and don't give two chuffs about the development of English football;

    Hence it's just a *****, greedy, underachieving mercenary circus show, providing only a tiny trickle of home-grown international standard players.

    What are the immigration Rules of China?

    I don't think what you are sayings true with 3. Isn't it 4.

    Plus the rules are strange. Not sure if it's still true but you couldn't/ can't have a foreign goalkeeper.

    I've watched a few of there games on TV and they are horrible. Attendances are awful and players aren't sticking around too often.

    I think that's a key point regarding immigration rules. One of the few positives about Brexit could be greater restriction on foreign players in the Premier League.

    Couldn't agree more!

    Although I'd be happy if it was less strict than that, and as long as you have a minimum of 5 British players in your starting lineup that would suffice. Surely that would increase the value of certain star English Championship / EFL players then, meaning us smaller teams might receive bigger transfer fees for our homegrown players?

    But the premier league clubs already break down in tears at the price of English players. That's why it's awash with bang average foreign players

    5 foreigners in matchday squad should be the limit. None of this "They're foreign but trained in England so they're technically English" sh*te either.
