My take on Pre season and more.

It's good to see News is coming out of Oakwell.

Pre season. Good for news on this but not sure about them for a fan point of view.

Guiseley, I went to Leeds a couple of years ago but seeing the price of this game it's not one of the best but okay for a Tuesday night.
Grimsby, Wanting to go to this one but it's a risk isn't it. They've in the past made it uncomfortable for anyone going to Cleethorpes.
The other two are okay but nothing more.

Good to see a signing coming in. Not sure how he'll fit into the Championship. Hopefully more to come.

Aren't we wearing Puma next season?

 

I'm a bit gutted Rochdale is on a Tuesday night, enjoyed going to their ground on a Saturday and getting fish and chips before hand then going into their excellent supporters bar/pub.

 

I remember now that it was £15 last time at Guiseley. It's not too far for me but I don't think I can justify that for a friendly.

Cleethorpes... on train for me!
I live in worksop, so only a 45 minute train ride.
They run one every Saturday from there and it's only a ten minute walk to the ground... even though we'll probably be Sheparded to and from the sports bar, where I saw loads of Donny fans getting hammered back in April!...

 

Just booked a train from Doncaster. Spending as little time in Cleethorpes as possible. On Barnsley FC site 3pm kick off. On Grimsby it says tbc. They better not be messing with kick off time.

 

Yes. They charge every friendly that because they fill the place against Leeds.

 

Guisley was a bit messy last year. DJing away most of summer so unlikely to see any preseason this year.
