I'm very disappointed to learn that Corbyn has decided not to appear on it.

And I thought Mayhem was the only coward.

Partially agree with you. Would have liked to see him, but as May has refused it I think Jez was probably advised to do his rallies, that are getting good local press coverage. Turnout dwarfing the Tories. Of the rest of the candidates, whilst some of them are very good politicians, they are going to have little bearing on the election result.

John we are about to elect a leader and the 2 front runners fail to come on tv to put over their parties policies for all our futures.
This 2 hours of debate will be a complete waste of time.
I will of course be voting SNP but I would still like to see Nicola challenged. In fact I'd want to see all leaders challenged.
I watch Scottish parliament when I can and its fun to watch Nicola wipe the floor with The Dug and The Tank Commander. Tonight she would have had the chance to square up to Mayhem and Corby. Looks like they are scared and have both bottled it.
    Not a leader between them

That decision was made by May though. If Jez had taken part with the also rans he would have got now't out of it. Blame the "strong & stable" one, who daren't face a direct question.

Yes it is my opinion mate. I really think if he had any real ambitions of leading the country then he should have been there leading from the front.

    Still NS will be there.

Corbyn isn't scared of Sturgeon. Far from it. Without The May Bot there's no point him being there.

Well we dont know that but the fact remains for me if we are to have leaders debates then all leaders should be there fighting their corner.

Looks like Mayhem has won again by not turning up. Corby has lost the chance of trying to win over the floating voters. Easy to see why Labour are failing.

Badly timed too. Didn't they realise it was the same night as the Premier League Darts final? Completely out of touch the lot of them!

How would appearing on a show without his main rival help? He needs to convince people that either didn't vote or voted Tory to vote Labour.

With the minority parties he has nothing to gain. UKIP are finished, Lib Dems and Greens nothing to offer.

Scotland is still interested in vanity it seems so will continue voting for the SNP despite Labour having a manifesto that is actually to the left which it supposedly wants to see.

Voting SNP was pretty pointless last time. Didn't deliver independence led to a conservative government that has had a massive negative impact on Scotland and everywhere else. A vote for the SNP is a vote for May. The SNP is about as left wing as the Lib Dems.

    The debate became an irrelevance.

Yep both nationalist parties (SNP & Plaid Cymru) whilst I get the ideology behind it it's totally ******* pointless as it just means we end up Tories again.

Ian I fail to see how you think voting snp in a uk parliamentary election benefits Scotland. Your leader doesn't even stand in the elections as they only have realistic power in the devolved stuff in the holyrood parliament.

All returning snp U.K. Mp's does is reduce the number of labour MPs and guarantee a right wing Tory government.

If you stopped thinking wee jimmy krankee sturgeon was some kind of god and actually looked at the labour manifesto it is further left than anything in mainstream politics has been in a long time. Something the old industrial areas like the north of England and much of Scotland has craved for decades.

But everyone north of the border is so brainwashed about sturgeon and how great she is, and how crap Corbyn the tv tells you he is, you don't actually realise what you are voting against. The snp has pretences of being left wing and socialist. If they were up against blair's new labour, maybe. Against the current labour regime they're about as left wing as David beckham

I side with both more than labour but would vote for anyone in the top half of that list to avoid "living" under anyone in the bottom

Voting SNP means Tory, it really is as clear as that. Have a read of Corbyn's policies, have a read of May's policies and choose which you'd rather have. SNP's policies are an irrelevance in the grand scheme of things, so decide if you'd rather have Labour or Tory and vote accordingly.

Sorry to disagree but my view is if more people in England were to vote Labour instead of Tory then you would not have to blame us Scots for the state of the country.
