Bless him my heart goes out to him for his disability. Maybe we should set up a crowdfunding page called **** Aid.
Very bizarre . Everyone on here hates himandcsays he was terrible But arte same time when we had a builtin board. Player if season based on a match by match man of the match poll he came third
Never really understood the hatred. Good pacey defender on his day and don't remember too many horror shows.
I can't really remember much about him other than defensive horror shows , he wasn't slow but he was the ultimate ball watcher . The worst example I recall was away at Bolton , stood marking Kevin Davies on the D of the penalty area he decided to leave him all alone to double up on the winger...needless to say a simple pass to an unmarked Davies ruined an otherwise half decent reds performance .
Most of the 2 and 1/2 years we had him was just one long horror show, and shockingly wasn't even the worst full back we had at the time Don't forget the two own goals that cost us points at Blackpool or Millwall, or the time he spent most of the match talking to Ikechi Anya while Watford put 5 past us
The only thing I can really remember of him was the he was absolutely lightening quick, proper **** off a shovel when running up field. But when he was tracking aback or had to run towards his own goal he suddenly lost at least half of that pace. Weird...
The thing I remember about him was Keith Hill picking him every week while John Stones sat on the bench and Bobby Hassell couldn't even get in the squad. It's debateable who the bigger tw*t was, him or Hill because I'm convinced Hill kept picking him because he knew most of us wanted him dropped.
