Although posting and then deleting will probably cause more animosity between our clubs.

Oh, didn't realise that they'd invaded Wembley's pitch. Jesus they've got some right arseholes. Just seen Morrison on Twitter saying how they've ruined it for him. McCall saying he was close to clocking a couple.

Club has tried hard to shed its image but it attracts violence like no other. Feel genuinely sorry for decent Millwall fans, must be horrible to have to be constantly associated with those knobheads.

 

Statistics show we are top five in the country for social media engagement among football clubs. I'm proud of our twitter account, we usually get things bang on the money. But you're right, I misjudged the mood of our fans on this occasion.

I still agree with why I posted it, and job wise it was the right call. But sometimes you need to think like a fan. And so it's a bit weird that I've failed on that.

Very true, your first sentence. I sat there for about a minute mulling it over. Deleting it can be just as bad. I think I got that bit right, if nothing else though.
