Although posting and then deleting will probably cause more animosity between our clubs. Can hear them now, Barnsley's un-congratulated us.
Oh, didn't realise that they'd invaded Wembley's pitch. Jesus they've got some right arseholes. Just seen Morrison on Twitter saying how they've ruined it for him. McCall saying he was close to clocking a couple. Club has tried hard to shed its image but it attracts violence like no other. Feel genuinely sorry for decent Millwall fans, must be horrible to have to be constantly associated with those knobheads.
Statistics show we are top five in the country for social media engagement among football clubs. I'm proud of our twitter account, we usually get things bang on the money. But you're right, I misjudged the mood of our fans on this occasion. I still agree with why I posted it, and job wise it was the right call. But sometimes you need to think like a fan. And so it's a bit weird that I've failed on that. Thank you for not wanting me tarred and feathered.
You're the epitome of evil! You didn't pass comment on your employer's 2015/16 financial figures. You didn't pass comment on takeover rumours at the club. You post a Twitter comment congratulating another club on their promotion. You then delete said Twitter comment. You have the audacity to be optimistic about the club this Summer! HOW VERY DARE YOU(?) Never mind, Andy old mate. This sad, decrepit, Happy Clapper still loves you.
Very true, your first sentence. I sat there for about a minute mulling it over. Deleting it can be just as bad. I think I got that bit right, if nothing else though.
Don't be daft. Well done for getting rid. If I won the lottery and bought the club I'd ban them from the ground. Maybe even their "dignitaries" too. **** em. You've done great work this season. This will be forgotten in an hour.
I mean imagine having to do this as a football fan. Leigh Burton @LeighBurton3 @talkSPORT been supporting #millwall for 30 yrs but won't go to big games like today as we're always let down by idiots. #realwall
As I've said elsewhere, the more they get away with the worse they will get. Hope you're enjoying close season!
Meh, don't worry about it. As someone who can't often get to games often I love the Twitter account, especially the banter and the match updates. It's like the digital version of Ceefax
