Just wondered where everyone that participated ended up? Didn't manage to crack the top 10 myself but did win my work league.

Yeh, I actually won it (really) and was wondering when the cheque was going to arrive?

Was it a tenner a man, winner takes all?

Had a great season on the old FPL, finished just outside top 1000 out of 4.5m players in the world.

Mind you, get more or less naff all if you win that too.

Bloody hell congrats I've looked at your team with envy a fair few times this year! Got any top tips for next year. There should be some bbs reward in your member note or something for winning.

Thanks mate, only crept up last couple of weeks, Richard was leading mostly then it was a 3 way shootout between him, me & Chris on the final week. Only won by 7 points, bringing in Coutinho for final week and him getting 10 Points was a lucky move for me, alongside Southampton failing to get a clean sheet. Fine margins of good fortune.

Think to do well you have to get off to a reasonable / lucky start & try and build value of your team to give more firepower in transfer market. Used one wildcard fairly early to fix up team as it was pretty average, held the other really late to get a team where nearly all of them had 2 games in a week.

Plenty of websites out there that give better advice than me though....

    Good luck for next season!

Well done Border Terrier, streets ahead of me!!

I came a solid 15 but missed out on my yearly target of making the top 1% overall by finishing 275somethingthousandth. Becoming harder and harder every year with there being more players.

I never get the hang of making your transfers work to gain value and stupidly took Kane out for the run in. Ah well, always next year!

    Cheers mate.

FPLstatistics website tells you which players are likely to to rise or fall in value each night. Quite often worth doing an early transfer straight after weekend games (especially if the player you are buying has no midweek game and therefore every chance of playing following weekend). Players can rise/fall 0.3m per week so swapping a big riser for someone plummeting in value can give you a 0.6m swing in team value in just a week. If you want to play safe and wait for press conferences for injury news etc, do your transfers Friday, not Saturday, as this will help overall value as well. Value is not everything but it's certainly an advantage to have more money to buy better players, like real football.

Good luck for next season, we all start on zero points with the same money!
