You must not have the best of memories then. I bet he scored more goals for us only including the ones Conor assisted than he has in the 2 seasons since leaving us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He wasn't bad at all. Nothing wrong with 6 goals in 17 starts especially in a side that was playing very poorly for the majority. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm just saying he was no world beater when he played for us. Only one goal in over 50 appearances since leaving - mostly at league 2. I guess that means Hourihane made him about 15 times better, if that was your point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great either. As you said yourself, he benefited from Conor's left foot.
The dwarf played him up top on his own with the intention of the midfield "buzzing around" him. He won a lot of challenges and held the ball up well from what I can remember. Would be interesting to see him up front with another striker playing off him. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
He was a one in three striker in an average struggling team. Over the season if he kept that pace up he'd have been a 15 goals a season target man. I rated him.
His injury he picked up didn't help him while he was here and possibly his career since but if he was willing to sign for next to nowt he might be worth a punt for our development squad.
i would love shay given in as a number 2 and to coach/ push davies along and a steady pair of reserve hands
I thought as young lad on loan he did well and showed good promise . Always put himself in where it could hurt like a proper center forward . I am surprised that his career has nosedived since then . Could Hecky weave his magic.......
I thought the lad picked up a serious back injury after he returned to Stoke from us? Perhaps his form and appearances have been adversely affected since he was last at Oakwell? I remember him being an effective target man with a decent goal return whilst he was here.
Plenty of potential in young judd, I thought he was pretty decent and wouldn't object if we took him on, sithi.
Not good enough for this level at the moment. Will be in time to come at the right club but we need somebody at the right age who's good enough now and not in a few years.
How do we know though we don't give them a go. Most of our team comes from lower or non league. If he's fit and willing, offer him a deal I say. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
