... The perennial strugglers gain promotion to the Premier league" Don't patronising commentators get on your nerves
Brilliant stuff. Well done Huddersfield. Got 3 good friends who all support the team so Im well happy for them.
According to most on here by all rights Huddersfield should have flogged all their best players to mid table sides with big fan bases... Funny what happens when you show courage in your convictions.
Good to see Nick Colgan there giving Ward advice. Glad Reading didn't win, they set out for a draw. Pretty poor final actually.
I'm sure that all the Huddersfield fans are feeling totally disassociated from their team right now. And deciding not to renew their season tickets.
They did that, at the start of 2015/16. And finished 19th or summat. Not taking their subsequent success away, it's superb what they've achieved, but raking in the coin they did in 2015/16 helped everything that came afterwards. Good long term thinking. Their best players this season are arguably their loanees too. So they couldn't sell them. There are plenty of ways to skin a cat, and hats off to Town, unreal accomplishment. But I don't see why this equals Barnsley FC are wrong, bad or whatever else. In 18 months our own trajectory has been phenomenal. You could look at us as ahead of the curve really. Maybe we can rebuild our own squad and aim high once more? I dunno. Football is a crazy game. For every underdog achieving like Town this season, there are two big clubs overspending who succeed too. I'm chuffed that we get to play at this level again next season, I love the Championship. And you're just one dream season away from glory. As we experienced 20 years ago.
But that is true tho, they have been.. Thought the quote by David Wager, that said the difference between us and them... to get Huddersfield out of their comfort zone, was very apt... where we as a club are very much in ours... Even if they come back down straight away... so what... They'll be made and be one of the big boys in the Championship.. Well done Dean Hoyle.. you deserve it
Chuffed for Huddersfield. Its about time we had a Yorkshire club back in the premiership. They stayed strong in January and they are now reaping the rewards of their bravery .
I noticed that. Utter *******, especially when Readings such a wanky little club that's bought success. Don't they do any research? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
4th lowest budget in the championship. Shows what you can do with a great team spirit and a few shrewd signings.
Stayed strong in january? Well done town I'm pleased for them but their best players are loans you can't flog them in january
Horrible commentators. They won three top flight titles in a row and very few ever have. They spoke about them like they are some small time club that's used to lower league football.
Really ? I heard that said by some sheff Utd fans when they were in the premier. Went well for them eh ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
