Afraid that's the going rate these days, Buffon wasn't worth £40 million 15 years ago. £10 million is **** all to the Premiership these days. Not that I agree with it mind, it's mental.
Average may be slightly harsh. I'd go for slightly above adequate. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
If he signs a 3 yr deal at Udders at least he'll have a couple of seasons in the Championship to go at
IMO Mooy beat himself a couple of times against Reading by being over elaborate. I have asked myself why was he on loan at Huddersfield.? Answer there are far better player at City. Little or no chance of getting into their Premiership eleven especially with the additions they are on the verge of making. They've already signed Bernardo Silva for £ 43 million from Monaco and tomorrow they are expected to tie up a £33 million deal that will see Benefica keeper Ederson Moraes join them probably spelling the end for Joe Hart. Others on Peps radar are rumoured to be Silvas team mate defender Benjamin Mendy and striker Kyllan Mbappe who would set them back to the tune of £113 million. Guardiola has never hidden his admiration for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, Spurs full back Kyle Walker and Saints centre back Virgil Van Dijk as Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak readies himself for a massive spending spree. It's alleged he's already told Pep he wants him to build a squad to challenge on four fronts viz: Premier League, Champions League, EFL Cup and FA Cup ( no pressure then)? Nolito is in line to rejoin Celta Vigo for around £10 million , Enes Unal is tipped to go to Villarreal for £12.5 million so if Mooy does join Town for a rumoured £10 million and they get something for Sagna, Cabellero, Clichy and Navas who have all been told they can go as well as Hart , they are set fair to recoup some of their proposed outlay.
But sadly GO he probably won't cut it in the Prem. Not my opinion it's Guardiola's otherwise he'd keep him. Dean Hoyle has intimated City are interested in releasing him. It's him that mentioned the £10 million.
They're all out of contract mate so they'll get sod all mate. On the subject of Scowen, off the ball he's a very good midfielder, the effort he puts in to get into good positions and to get the ball back is 2nd to none, but going on what I've seen of them both in the Champ he's not as good on the ball as someone like Moncur.
