It's about time she stands down permanently. She's an absolute disgrace. I dot't agree with a lot of things Labour want to do and don't agree with things the Conservatives have done in power but that stupid woman has widened the gap and this decision is too late.
If there's one person that has pillocked her way to the forefront of mainstream politics it's Diane Abbot the woman is a disaster for labour and would be a disaster for the country if labour were to gain power
I think she's possibly lost Labour the election . To be fair to her she really seemed unwell and incoherent during that interview .
We don't know the full facts surrounding her removal. My wife went through a terrible time during her menopause. Are Diane Abbots circumstance linked to that ?. She's 64 year old so that might be unlikely or could it be linked with some kind of mental illness or a neurological problem.? Seems to blow the theory advanced on Newsnight last night that Corbyn/Abbot/ Mc Donnell don't want to form the Government. It was alleged that all they want to do is rid the party of the Blairites and put it as far left of the political spectrum as they possibly can.! Diane Abbott has been a liability no doubt about that. I've been waiting for Costello to roll up but given the news released this morning I for one wish her well for her future whatever that might hold. Sounds as though her immediate political future could be in some doubt.
8 weeks too late. It seems someone has finally realised how damaging she is to Labours election chances but unfortunately the damage has already been done.
Quite often it does take people around someone that's not well some time to realise that something's wrong. A member of my staff started limping. I asked him if he was OK. He told me he'd got an arthritic hip. He then started slurring his words. He said it's because he'd broken some bridgework in his mouth and he was going to the dentists to get some new crowns. His speech deteriorated to the point I thought he was drunk. He went off sick shortly after and underwent tests at Pinderfields. He brought me his first note to take into work. Poor lad he had Motor Neurone Disease. Very very sad. Two years later he passed away.
I'm no fan of Abbott at the same time I wonder how many of those calling her 'thick' went to Cambridge on merit from a relatively poor background.
She's made some basic mistakes but the level of abuse has been pretty horrific form the press. I suspect she's having some issues related to that.
What you've had here is pi55 poor Labour leadership... The Torey's have kept there nutcases under lock and key (not seen much of Boris have we) While labour have let there's wonder about to get destroyed by the Media.
Replacement seems a nice women. Perhaps she's since changed her hairstyle. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-man-Out-way-Labour-whip-shouts-reporter.html
Actually had the rest of the Labour Party not spent 2 years trying to remove Corbyn and instead got behind him, there's a good chance she wouldn't have been in the job in the first place.
Everyone ******* knew she was a ******* liability, except her best ******* mate, Jeremy ******* Corbyn.... wow I feel manly now
I mentioned it in the other thread, but Labour have some big names that are currently on the back benches and would probably step up if asked to be part of the government. Whether they would be forgiven and asked is another matter. Just in the local area, we've got Jarvis, Milliband and Cooper.
Labour MP Barry Gardiner has tweeted that Ms Abbott has been diagnosed with serious long term medical condition.!
Abbott has been pilloried for making mistakes probably caused due to a medical condition whilst Johnson has made a living out of it.!
Can't see this on his timeline. Looks like it was verbal to Executive Editor, Politics, HuffPost UK. News
