What's everyone's thoughts? I get the feeling we will get pumped once again. But by how much is the question. My forecast is a lucky 2-0 to you lot..
Ashamed to admit I had completely forgotten about the game. Completely switched off from football at the moment, weekends spent out training for a couple of charity bike rides. Can't argue with your thoughts really, though it'd be interesting to see what England did if Scotland scored early on. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
I never take this game for granted, and expect Scotland to be up for it, especially in front of their own fans. Player for player you have to say us, but Scotland are due one. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
If you get 'pumped' then it will be far from luck on out part. Is it a friendly or a Rous cup match? Is it on telly box. # disinterested #SturgeonOut Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Hope you enjoy. I can't wait on route now caught 6.10 from Doncaster just heading towards Durham. Come on England.
I can't see Scotland sitting back and inviting England onto them like we're so often used to seeing when we play teams such as Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia etc. Certainly not at home, and with Strachan's job on the line. I feel that could play into England's hands a little, and whilst I think both teams will score, I think it will enable Harry Kane a bit more freedom to find the sort of form he does for spurs. If England line up in a similar fashion to how we did against Spain and Germany in the friendlies, I think we'll win comfortably. If we revert to that patient back 4 and a diamond in midfield, it could be a long night. Hoping it'll be the former, and England to win 3-1. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
That would be my forecast too. We should beat you but being home to England the atmosphere and occasion you will probably up your game so we won't thrash you.
It's a friendly World Cup qualifier. Let's see how Kane plays. Will the captaincy be an added burden to deflect him from the main job of getting the goals.? I'm going for an England win 2-0. It's live on Sky Sports 1 from 4pm.
Barely seen it mentioned down here and not that arsed about the result, doubt I'll be watching it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interested to know your views Ian on whether Sturgeon has pushed too hard for another referendum - it appears to have directly caused an unionist vote that is directly responsible for keeping the tories in power. If I were a nationalist I would be pretty angry with the SNP powers that be right now. The issue of another referendum now seems to be dead in the water for a long time.
