My contract with Tescomobile has just come to an end and I'm keeping my phone and going sim only. Rang Tesco to see if they could price match some of the offers and all they could do was knock me 50p a month off and take away some of my call allowance. I told them that I could get better deals but they just warned me that some of the other deals are based around the 3 network and that their network coverage is poor. Is anyone with 3? What are they like? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Im with sky mobile, £15 a month with unlimited calls and txts if ur a sky subscriber, plus 3gb a month,
I don't need all that. This is type of offer I was looking for them to match. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I'm with 3, have been for over 6 years now and very happy to be honest. Up until February this year was paying £15 per month Sim only for 200mins, Unlimited Texts and Data. Had been on that for over 3 years, but 3 called time on a lot of users who have been out of contract periods, like me, where the monthly payment simply rolled over. They wanted to up my payment to £21 per month, but after some sensible and amicable discussion, I'm now paying £17 per month for the same package, and I also get 30GB per month tethering. 4G speeds are good, network coverage from my experience is fine, you have the dead areas over the moors, some parts of the coast, but nothing that I notice as a problem, certainly not locally. Overseas use is a breeze, their "feel at home" service is a simple and easy to use and makes use of your allowance. Used it France, Spain, Germany, connected to the local network and then used my data allowance and call package at no extra cost. They've also refunded me a proportion of my bill, I think it was 25%, on a couple of occasions where their network has been down unexpectedly, following me reporting it. I have two 3 SIMs, if you know what I mean. For my phone, £11 per month for 200 minutes, 2GB data and unlimited texts (does anyone still use texts?). I also use the 3 network for my home broadband as we don't have a land line, that's £15 per month for 20GB data. I get 20M upload and 30M download speeds at home, which is far better than the neighbours with antiquated landlines get. All works fine, although I have had problems logging into my account at home. I don't mind that though, as when I call to moan about it I get some money knocked off, so the dodgier the better.......
You uswitch is decent for finding best sim only deals. Although EE wouldn't offer my wife anything decent until she asked for a PAC code and then got a fantastic sim only deal miles better than any advertised Not sure if mins and text but 20gb data. £10
Was on £8.99 with EE for 4gb data, unlimited text and voice. But just upgraded their max tariff for £13.99 (7gb unlimited / unlimited). But with Max plan you can use your allowance in the USA as well as Europe. Saves me messing about getting a 1 month £25 Three SIM for hols in August.
You just missed out on a £5 deal with EE. Ended a couple days ago. Worth keeping an eye out for. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ee-...es-texts-5-month-60-12-month-contract-2712785
Cheers guys. Good thing is these deals are on monthly contracts, so if the signal does turn out to be poor, you have the flexibility to try a similar deal. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I use giff gaff. £10 per month gets you 500 minutes, 2GB data and unlimited texts. They use the O2 network so coverage is great almost anywhere.
Thanks everybody. Eventually went with plusnet on the EE network 1gig of data 1000 texts 500 minutes. £5 per month. Not a massive allowance, but easily enough for me. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
