    woudnt mind that sam Gallagher while were at it .Good age and cut his teeth in champ last season with Blackburn and will only be better for it .

    I know little about him, but he's about as experienced as Winnall, Mawson, Hourihane, Yiadom et al, were when we signed them.

    Notice Gethin Jones signed a new deal at Everton, so the chances of him coming back are slim. Not that I'm bothered about that one.

    Or competition to Yiadom. We need 2 players in each position.

    Would imagine it means no Conor McLaughlin though.

    Whoever we sign I trust Hecky and our scouting team think they are right fit.

    Looking forward to seeing who comes through the door in the next few weeks.

    In which case we'll definitely need players like Yiadom who can play left or right back. Imagine Hecky will want a solid squad of 20 odd and then players in U23 ready to step up if required.

    But he comes into his final year of his contract... so the choices are 3..

    1 sell before 31 august and get decent money..

    2 keep till Jan and sell for 500k

    3 keep next season walks for nowt next May.

    Unless he pens a new deal... that's the way it is
