I'm positive that I don't work for Sky. My source knows someone at the Club. He won't say who otherwise he could get the "tin tack." Every bit of information he's given in the past has come true so there's no reason for my brother-in-law to doubt him this time.
Well thats enough for me, totally watertight. Next time you get chance, see if he has any insider info on who really did 9/11, in confidence obviously, we dont want him getting the sack.
Brother in law and my Sister stayed with us recently. He's a Sunderland fan. I told him that rumours were doing the rounds that Paul Heckinbottom was being touted as their new manager following David Moyes resignation. He's now been told by a reliable source in the North East that McInnes has agreed to take the job. He thought he would let me know what he'd been told to dispel my fears. You said SAB that Sky Sports had announced what I was saying 5 hours before my posting. I simply asked an open question " weren't Sky reporting that talks were ongoing and that he's not actually signed"? I haven't taken a leap of faith and to be honest I don't really care who they appoint and when they appoint. I simply was passing on what I had been told to allay concerns and neutralise any rumours that a Hecky could be leaving the Reds for Sunderland. It might transpire that the information I've been given proves not to be correct or at the eleventh hour McInnes has a change of heart. We'll have to wait and see.
BREAKING NEWS | Dons management team staying at Pittodrie Aberdeen Football Club is pleased to confirm that manager Derek McInnes and assistant Tony Docherty have elected to remain at Pittodrie until at least the summer of 2019. http://www.afc.co.uk/news/9697.php
Looks like he's used his talks with Sunderland to force the Dons to upgrade the training facilities. Like Gordon Strachan did with us probably promised to join and then gone back and done a deal to stay. Don't think brother in law will be disappointed to be honest. Along with others when the story first broke the was underwhelmed with his possible appointment .
