Always a great day. We're on in Jock's Cavern this year, nivver been in the place before. Looking forward to Hurriers and Mark Jackson in Purism, Black Lamps at Underground.
lived in barnsley years mate! be nice to make one out but alas these days with two toddlers not sure. What pubs are staging events and is there a gig list anywhere?
I'm going. Went last year too, saw some good bands, but saw one so bad I had to go in Chennels to give my ears a rest, though 6 hours later, my eyes and legs ceased working. I do not recommend that band...but can't remember their name anyway.
Only one band that's had a similar effect on me (having to go to Chennels to lose eye and leg function) was a few years back in Polish Club, they were a bizarre 80's tribute band called 'Lasses from Clarkes shoe factory'. They wa just plain barmy!
Really?!! Saw them at ShoeFest 2011 and thought they were awesome. Headliners were Kid Croc, Heel Diamond and The Arctic Monkey Boots. The opening ceremony was conducted by someone claiming to be a distant relative of Princess Kate, Slipper Middleton.
Me? I think the moon landings never happened and also think that Elvis is still alive and will perform his new song 'There's A Bird Works Down The Chip Shop Swears She's Kirsty MacColl' at Barnsley Live this Saturday, likely in The Alma at Wombwell.
