I know but it's one of those days where crowds are always high - would have been ideal to have a big fixture at home. Instead we get one of the worst fixtures possible.
Third season in a row where we're away both first and last games of season. They really don't like us at all.
Well, do you think it makes a difference? Also, hasn't our away form been better than our home form in the past season or so? Surely that makes starting and finishing with an away game benefecial towards us, rather than the opposite. Discuss.
Well nobody really knows if it makes a difference. Personally it's just nice to have the curtain-raiser/closer at Oakwell and I'm just pointing out that we haven't had either for the past two seasons, nor will we have for this.
I suppose it gets this one out of the way. It's a notoriously difficult place for us to go. Against the hobbit too. At least if we win, we know we're going to win the league or something. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
but on the other hand it means our first home game is after when all the hols are done. So it will give us a bigger crowd. We play Ipswich and with our relationship with them we will get a decent crowd.
