They report what clubs tell them or want them to know. As I say, wait until things are official. Don't think "we were supposed to sign this player today" off the back of rumours.
That would suggest club told them wrong info then? Anyway i was just raising discussion. Bit of a boring forum if someone can't speculate about transfers. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
Because he didn't instantly smash up the championship having stepped up from Dover fc!! Personally think he did ok before his injury. Showed flashes of what he can do. Just like that Bogle, who had a couple of seasons at L2 level, hardly set the championship alight. Got a couple of goals then nothing for the last 10 games. Doesn't mean he won't be a decent championship striker. Just that it might take a season to adjust. At least we didn't pay £1m and £10k a week for SP! It's all opinions, but mine is that if he stays fit and gets a chance this year he'll do a lot better than last year. When he was fit at Shrewsbury he looked very good. Perhaps that little stepping stone in league football, and a full pre season with the coaching team, will bring him on further. I'm all for giving our players the chance to show what they can do. Especially those brought in from non league who will need a bit longer to settle in.
Yiadom gets injured - who do you play? Robbo gets injured - who do you play? Hammill gets injured - who do you play? Who are you playing left wing? Who are you playing CM? Bradshaw gets injured - who do you play?
Whitey. Just then. Anyway as I said I was just raising a bit of discussion. And as we were told that a signing was imminent then nothing happened I simply said I hope the deal hasn't hit a snag. Nothing wrong with that in my eyes. If we all waited until an official announcement from the club then there wouldn't be any transfer gossip at all. Which makes this forum a rather dull place if you ask me!
I think some of the players you mention are definitely Championship quality. But other than that I understand your concern. Only surmise that players will be as buses are - you wait ages and then a bus load of buses all comes at once.
I love how we wear the .... Lowest Budget Badge... with ease these days, like some kind of deluded self congratulation. We have been brainwashed by the to club expect **** all... I can remember Andy Richie getting sacked,.. or so we were told.. For saying the similar thing, now its the club mantra.. I do know one thing tho , that with the form and players the we had post Feb 1st last season (imagine what it would have like without Matty James)... to realistically stand any chance of staying in the championship beyond next season, we need better.. The folk in charge of getting players in are working with there hands tied behind there back. So don't go blaming them, they'll be banging their heads against the wall no doubt. Can we work a miracle again on a L1 budget.. don't know, but our recruitment, this summer HAS to be spot on to stand any real chance. Whether we except we are just a .. stepping stone club.. or not, Its where we are, but to take some kind of false pride in being bottom of the budget pile is b0ll0cks.. As Hecky said, we need to be, year on year getting better as a club.. Not going back to square one Every transfer window,
Nobody takes pride in being bottom of the budget pile, unfortunatley thats how it is, fact & if you dont like people mentioning it, I can only assume it does not suit your agenda, deal with it .
There is cover already for most of your list, but I am sure there will be more recruits before the big kick off, why dont you save your constant moaning until the squad has been finalised & see exactly what we have got on board.
We have Hedges for Hammil, we have two right backs in Yiadim & Macarthy, two left backs in Williams & Kwypecka ( probably spelt that wrong ), we have Jackson as cover at centre back & options in midfield, but I believe Hecky knows what he wants & no doubt between now & august, we will see several recruits, especially up top where we are obviously deficiant.
No... Just because some of us have a different view from the official line the club likes to promote, and are not willing to be spoon fed any old *****... does not mean they have an agenda. It means they will take every decision, like transfers, in or out or budget (which is not set in stone BTW but self imposed) and call it as they see it, whether you or the club like it or not. This is an open forum (just about), people are free to post/read what they choose.. If I did have an agenda it would be to... Question everything.. Because the truth can stand up to ANY scrutiny... Oh and I'm not going to put.. deal with it.. cos frankly I don't give a flying furk if you do or not..
Typical, thought you resort to swearing because its obvious you dont like anyone questioning your opinions. The other day, you jumped on me, stating that next I would bring up " Aston Villa ", when I asked you why ?, you did not have the courtesy to reply.
