Most articles talk about him costing just over the £1 million mark. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"In excess of a million" worth it for a winger, who besides his spell at Peterborough played a handful of games outside of the football league? Folk would be pissed if we spent that much on Winnall's replacement. Villa's onto him anyway.
Hes played over 100 games in the football league and been very successful its hardly flash in the pan is it. He made his league debut at 21 and has played a good amount of football league games for his age. Hes played around the same amount of games as Hourihane had when we signed him from Plymouth at 23. You call it a 'spell' at Peterborough like hes hardly played. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Two full seasons with Peterborough and a season in the Conference with Gateshead, that's his career, he's 24 in a couple of months. Connor cost us £200,000/£250,000 not so much a gamble. If he could be bought for £500,000 l'd agree with you but that much on a winger is ludicrous.
Agreed Conor was much less a gamble at the price. I don't understand what you have against spending money on wingers though. They're just as important as any other position. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's Peterborough's policy to transfer list all players with 12 months or less, left on their contracts. Has been for many years.
Yes as they always aim to take the money and back themselves to fetch in a replacement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Even at £1M I think it would be a good investment. He has the talent to be worth a lot more. While I'm all for us not signing established players for large sums, I don't think we should limit ourselves in terms of fees. If we see a player we think we could double our money on in a year or 2 we should certainly consider it. That's the path to us evolving & moving up the league. Hopefully in 2 years time we will be looking at talented players from a higher level than we are now. So long as there is profit in them. Ideally in 2019 we will be looking at the likes of Matty James, with a view to flogging him in 2020 for twice what we paid.
Good player. Exciting to watch. Can't see us signing him but would be very happy if we did. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Very impressive player, left foot like a dream. If we end up flogging Yiadom or Roberts or both for a wedge, this is what we should spend the cash on.
