That formation will be .............. FLEXIBLE

So Hecky can have the ability to change things before and during the match to get the most out of the team.

So why am I constantly seeing absolutely stupid statements on this message board in relation to the number of say midfielders being brought in and that this means we will be playing this that or the other formation.
    It's just foking crazy !!!
Have some people on here ever been to a football match before ???

3-6-1 is a very underrated formation in my opinion

Who plays up front in a two then?

If we play 4-1-4-1 who's the one between midfield and defence?

It's a message board for fans to offer and discuss their opinion. To speculate on what may happen or what they would like to happen.

Be a bit boring if you got your way and we only discussed what went off yesterday

I always liked the idea of 1-3-6 myself. We might concede a lot but we'd scare some defences

Sessi D'Almeida seems the obvious choice for a player between midfield and defence. Maybe Mowatt.

However, up front, I'm not really confident in any of the strikers at the club at the moment.

Bradshaw comes across as a nice guy in interviews, but unfortunately on the pitch, at this level, I think he's a bench boy at best.

Always wondered what would happen if a team ever did that, surely the opposition would be in two minds about attacking or marking the six strikers? It would be like a basketball game.

D'Almeida is far too much of an unknown quantity at present.

It was so much easier when we had two full backs, a centre half, two wing halfs, two wingers, two inside forwards, and a centre forward. I blame Don Revie with his Revie plan of a deep lying centre forward (whilst playing for Man. City) of causing all this mayhem of formations. He was followed by Ramsey, who dispensed with wingers, having had the mickey taken out of him by one Johnny Kelly, a left winger at Barnsley, and who, in his spare time sold his bleach (Kelzone) to my grandmother and other folk in Worsborough Dale.

226 was the Thurnscoe bus. X20 was fast one to Donny. Jump Circ was 312 I think ?

Over a month until the season starts I imagine we'll have 1-2 more strikers in the squad by then.

Probably, but same could be said about a number of players who have graced our shirt over the last 18 months.

Might well be, certainly recently. I'm going back to late 70s early 80s I think. Could have been 242.

Jeez, I sound like the Ron Manager of bus routes. Marvellous.

Keith Hill once played 4-6-0 away at Hull.

Needless to say we lost :(

Wasn't that literally a few days after Craig Levein did the same with Scotland(and lost)?
