I thank Josh for his time and effort towards our cause but he's moved on and so will we. Never really cemented his own place in the team so not really sure how we could really break the bank to keep him. Sent from my iPhone using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Scowen was a very good versatile player who played in numerous positions and I liked him as a player but in every position he played we had better in the squad. This season he would have struggled to hold down a position in the team. I didn't see him as a defensive midfielder and we seem to have signed better and I think we all have high hopes for moncur. I wish josh well and it will be interesting to see how him, Watkins, winnall and bree do this year. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Not answering his question though. Do you know that or speculating. Very rarely Tyrone gets the better of anyone!
Int 90% of this board speculation or conjecture? So we're saying that Brownhill wanted to come here for less money than Bristol were offering, but went there purely because he thought he would get more games, even though it was clear Hecky rated him? Ok.
Whereas you excel at nothing. So Scowen is ten times better than Brownhill even though he has gone to a club who finished lower last season. How many times better are you saying Bradshaw is than Winnall?
Hecky preferred Brownhill. If I had to choose I'd choose Brownhill unfortunately we get to choose neither. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Hecky referred to scowern as agreeable our best player before injury. Brownhill only came to cover injury
I understand you don't comprehend factual information. It's a curse. Maybe you can access PIP for non comprehension. But I will try again. When Scowen and Brownhill were both at the club Brownhill was consistently selected in central midfield rather than Scowen. The manager had a choice and chose Brownhilll. I say that as a big fan of Josh. He's a good player if not limited in his passing. We will miss him. Still you think Bradshaw is better than Winnall. You think we improved our team in January and we were going to get into the play offs so I understand digesting information and analysis is not for you . Anyhoo back to ignoring your insanity so don't bother replying. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
The fact is the scowern was playing. Full back. I understand that you are choosing to omit these facts to enhance your point. Nevertheless it's a fact
I never said we improved our team in January, I said we still had a good team. Again I understand that you are choosing to misrepresent the facts to enhance your point
Agree. I remember the day when he was not an automatic " first pick" for the team. Remember the "hoo hah" when Hammill was given the No 7 shirt although fair play to the lad he gave absolutely everything when he did play. Hecky went on record by saying he wanted to keep him but for whatever reason we weren't prepared to give him what he wanted to tempt him to stay. Plus there was talk that his wife couldn't settle up North so that might have been a contributory factor who knows.? Another consideration is we could be looking to adopt a slightly different style that meant he might not be a regular next term.? All imponderables but we now have to deal with the reality, he's gone and that's it. The moving finger writes and having written moves on.!
Does tyrone1.............speak............like...................................he types? It si ery difficult to follow when there are so many irrelevant full stops in his posts. PS tyrone It's ' BEING' and not 'been' old bean! (See what I did there ?)
