    Norwich signed him six months ago for £7m - I suspect that the offers that they're supposedly interested in listening to would be a fair chunk of that. Even if we did manage to agree a transfer fee, he'll be on astronomical wages.

    A definite 'no' from me. Too expensive, both in terms of transfer and wages. The sort of player we have systematically avoided signing and with good cause. He would be likely to be another Keith Treacy with us. He has already drastically underperformed at Norwich and the fans would be ok with their getting rid. Does not fit our profile at all. We would waste our precious cash on this one, for sure.
