Any rumoured fee's for Roberts knocking about?

1.5? honestly not great with valuations. Think I posted that I thought Mawson would go for about 3 million 12 months ago but those that want to attack me and offer nothing else to a thread don't talk about that.

 

It was just out of curiosity as I've seen you have been abit critical of andy at times. I think 1.5 to 2million is about right too.

I support Barnsley. Through good and bad. It's my guilty pleasure and has been through a number of years. I'm beyond middle age, but still (have to) work mighty hard for a living. I leave home on a Sunday night and live in a hotel. At my place of work, and in the hotel, I log on here for a bit of banter and to check what's going on, In close season, there is a lot going on. Obsessed with you is the wrong description. Pissed off is more accurate. Pissed off because when I look through the list of posts, for every four or five considered, informative, witty or reminiscing kind of post that is a pleasure to read, there is a post from your good self that drags me down. From our point of view I believe we should be trying to get as much money as possible up front from this deal.

With Marc being almost 27 and and being expected to sign a 2 or 3 year deal I would expect that the potential sell on's to be negligible for a 30 year old so get as much as we can now.

 

All that is true. Whilst at the same time realising that even if we only got a £1M fee for him it would be a significant return on a player with little over 2 seasons with us who was signed for NOWT. But we know footie is daft, and it will be considerably more than £1m, so some should bear that in mind when they start beating about 'another one going for peanuts'

 

They are at least 1.5m shy.

 

From the Mirror, who in the same article described Roberts as a 'stopper', I'd take their word with a large pinch of salt

Hemsworth I fully intended to no longer respond to any of your posts as you clearly have some issues. However, the fact remains that your opening post is a blatant sideswipe at Roberts. For weeks the figures being mentioned in regard to him have been 4 to 5 million. I'm afraid, whatever the excuses that can be made for you, you are quite well aware of the impact of the comments you make and should have to stand the irate responses you're going to get as a result.

 

If we get £3.5m we might as well give up and accept that we are a league 1 outfit.

Lol the post below yours says 3,500,000 so people are saying they think different.

 

That should be the benchmark. If we go down, as is looking more likely 5-6 million is what we will lose. I'm not a negative poster re football, but Hecky is gonna have to work miracles next season.

 

If it's 3.5 that's rubbish. Could get 5 for Roberts.
