......and watch the world go by. Long overdue cafe/bar now open at Peel Parade. Sat watching people walk by. One thing that's striking tho - there isn't that many 'normal looking' folk walking about in TARN these day. There was only me and 2 others that I saw today.
By the very definition of normal, if you only saw 2 others looking like you, then you are not normal.
'normal looking folk' ,that's so 1970's classic lingo , proper made me chuckle . What's your interpretation Nudge ?
Just a piece of advice Nudge when you are stood looking at yourself in a shop window the people on the other side think you are a scary staring nutter
We're going to have some places like that when the town centre is finished, where the temporary market is now and that bit of the road behind will become the new town square. The cafés/restaurants are going to be the likes of TGIs so you'll be talking £4 at least by the time it's done so, as much as I don't like to say, the less desirable folk are likely to stay up the Chennel's/Corner Pin end of town Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All sorts walking about theses days, yesterday. I was driving near the portcullis and so some proper down and out look like had been living rough for ages. Dressing a kakhi baseball cap black t shirt.abd jeans. Kid looked well down and out felt sorry him if anyone knows where he lives let me know and I will personally. Drop that gut a food Parc off
Hopefully. What scares me the redevelopmenent is one of the first projects they did was Mandela gardens, which is actually worse than it was before
Think that was linked more to the civic refurbishment, location doesn't really help it's probably the quietest part of the town centre so was always going to attract people who were up to no good.
Must admit I can't remember that much about it before, just that it was a bit of grass and some benches
It was just a green square of grass sometime in summer they put gigs on The areas now has been landscaped in a fashion that makes it unusable
