Even as recent as a few days ago. He continues to like BFC Twitter posts. One especially where someone tagged him and BFC and says we should be signing free agents like him. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Regardless, Roberts played league games in a first team so he played more than the 80 games you said didn't he
Some one sent him a pm on fb and asked him if he was coming back to bfc he replied hope fully he then screenshotted it to fb
I said around 80 games. I didn't realise we were counting semi professional football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I couldn't care less if he has experience at this level or not. Plenty of players with experience at this level are w@nk. Plenty of players with no experience at this level turn out to be gems. If he's a grafter and wants to play for the club and Hecky wants him, then it's +1 from me.
Why would you not realise that, I forgot that just because he played for small clubs that doesn't class as football
I'm embarrassed for you that you think Buxton and Worksop is as good a level as what Lloyd Isgrove has played at and trained at all his career. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't be embarrased for me because what you've managed to do is accuse me of saying something I never once said, not once have I made a comment about Isgrove because personally I would like him back and I think Conan's obsession with how many games somebody had played is very sad, but the fact you said Roberts had only played 80 odd games, was wrong as he played more than that for Halifax, not counting the other clubs he's played for.
His energy and enthusiasm would be invaluable to any squad. I don't care if there isn't always an end product. He panics defenders into making mistakes and his commitment rubs off on the rest of the team. It's a no brainer.
Very much like Ryan Kent (who got 3 goals 3 assists in 43 games) Lloyd does an awful lot more for the team than what the stats suggest. He made us attack with more pace & purpose driving us forward which made us a real threat on the counter attack , he was a real nuisance for the opposition with his pressing (remember the 3rd goal at Walsall posf), he helped the fullbacks no end with his tracking back. Fantastic signing if true!!
Wednesday fans loved him in his short spell there and said he tore defences to bits, now that's good enough for me. I adore him, he quite clearly loves our club and he works his ******** off. For me, if he had the "end product" people keep talking about then he would have been playing week in week out for a top 4 championship club. Praying this one comes off.
I'm not sure he can comprehended factual information. It does not compute. It's like asking Jeremy Hunt to care about nurses. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
I do love it when people expressing an opinion think there opinion is fact. Most entertaining Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Yes, exactly. I also seem to remember him hitting the woodwork half a dozen or more times before he finally scored that season. Didn't get the rub of the green goal-wise
Similar to Kent in that both scared defences to death but had poor end product. I think Kent is better technically but Isgrove is better defensively and has a better work rate.
