Bradshaw, Moncur, McDonald, Jackson, Kpekwa, Mowatt, Mallan, McCarthy, McGeehan, Pinnock. What do we reckon?
Probably 5 million quid. A pretty reasonable investment in my opinion. The caveat being that you would be looking at outgoing sales of that or less in terms of team strengthening Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
Signing 10 players, some with real quality for the price of one player. Well Played Barnsley. I'm assuming the 'less than what was received for Mawson' was praising the club right?
Who knows if the all have real quality? MacDonald is the only one you'd say has been a success in the Championship so far. The rest have varying levels of potential and we will soon see how that potential translates into results
Just having a discussion jack. Better than not really adding to any debate but making cunty little jibes on the occasional thread int it?
Mowatt had varying degrees of success with Leeds. Moncur came on loads at the end of the season. McCarthy has been voted player of the year for the last 2 seasons and come out of an impressive Southampton setup. Mallan, McGeehan, and Pinnock are all highly rated. Bradshaw didn't do a bad job, think he was stiffed by playing up top on his own. MacDonald was quality. Can also add Yiadom to the list.
Probably and his sale will result in us signing four or five players with potential over the next 2 years. Its clearly a cycle. Buy low, sell for more, rinse, repeat. We've now started getting players on 3 year contracts and thus they will either be sold for more or stay in the team longer. It amazes me anyone can challenge the plan when less than 2 years ago we were bottom of League one... we're now sat second in the Championship
We dont know. Because all we see is undisclosed or Substantial. And in the case of sales... We maintain an interest in his future. All it does is cause ******* arguments on here Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
