Obviously not good enough for us at our level but I thought he might have got a little bit more of a chance. Should be decent for Luton if that's where he's heading.
Good luck to him. Linking up with his brother who also plays for the Hatters. I suppose it frees up a few quid for us to pay somebody else. Interesting to look back on our supposed transfer dealings from 2005 albeit the figures quoted can only be estimated. We've brought in an estimated £31,437,500 ( excluding any add ons) on transfers out and spent £22,620,000 on players in which means that nett theoretically we should be £8,817,500 in the black.!
I know CT I couldn't believe it either but according to " Transfer League" that's their guesstimate. http://www.transferleague.co.uk/swansea/english-football-teams/barnsley-transfers
Pity he couldn't have been included in the McGeehan deal (or maybe he was - who knows?) Like "...here's a hundred grand plus Elliot, the son of Robert Lee, for your lad McGeehan".
That combined fee is adding up way before 2005. And who the hell is Michael Keane that we blew 2m on Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
What about the sell on clause for Stones & the supposed Holgate bunce for playing regular & getting in the england U21's, can't see any of those included.
Reight made up load of sh*te that transfer website, as if we received £2m for O'Grady Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If doesn't include add ons. Regarding O'Grady he left us after we were relegated to join Brighton. I remember at the time it was our usual " undisclosed" and I agree it would likely as not be more likely to be nearer to £500k rather than £2 million plus I ain't got a dolly blue who Michael Keane is. If we adjust the figure by £3.5 million could £19 million still be a realistic figure.? It's amazing how time can cloud your memory. I'd forgotten half of the names on that list.
