Linton was talking about using it for a bar area last season and I believe it has now been plaster boarded out so maybe thats on the cards.

In other news i heard CGC wont be doing the stadium catering so will be interesting to see if it improves next season. Seems unlikely it could be worse I guess.

I'm currently just reading his book for the first time on holiday, I'm about a third of the way through it. It actually says it was £2.2 million at a cost of around £350 a seat whilst other clubs were paying £500 a seat. He built the ground so big so that we weren't confined to a small ground that would halt our progress and leave us in the lower leagues. Other fascinating stuff so far:
    - Martin O'Neill applying for the job that Machin got, if Mel turned it down he was the one to get it. It's be recounted on here a few times
    - Currie being sold and at the time being on 45k a year, Forest gave him 90k a year.
    - Machin being on 60k a year and us offering Gordon Strachan 180k a year to replace him, he was accepting it until Leeds offered him a contract extension to play another year in the top flight.
    - Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink being offered to us before he it the big time, he had the same agent has De Zeeuw who had just signed. Obviously he was a tad out of out league.
    - Barry Taylor offering to be one of four directors to be a guarantor for the transfer of Gordon Owen ;) love you Baz.

Brilliant read so far I'm just coming up to the 96/97 season
