I'm pretty sure it wont be more than 25 quid for the millwall ticket (which i still insist is too much), not the 37 + for weds and leeds. Further it was not millwall football club who caused the trouble, it was people supporting millwall. There were 20 000 ish millwall 'fans' at wembley who don't turn up regularly or at all to watch 'their' team: you cannot legislate for that. And yes millwall fc should do more etc etc.
And P.S This is one of around 8 matches i think i will be able to attend this coming season as i am rota'd to work most weekends... so i will snatch the rare opportunity.
Always attempt at least one London trip a season and last eyar opted for Craven Cottage. Think a possible last visit to Griffin Park calls this time but I'd certainly visit Millwall if things fall right. As safe a trip as it comes nowadays and no problems on last visit, locals overly friendly if anything. As said above, it's each to their own. I'd not pay the prices a lot of clubs charge and to me the ticket price means more to me than the reputation of the fans of the home side. Hopefully we'll take a decent following.
If Miwwoww needed 1p to avoid liquidation and I was the only person in the world who could pay that penny, I would let them go under. If we play them at home in a cup game I wouldn't go.
Scum bag club and I wouldn't ever put my son's at risk again by taking them to a match away from oakwell against the vile millwall scum. Totally agree with Conan. If this classes as their idiots winning then no problem let them win my families safety is more important. Hope they all enjoy their days out in Leeds, Birmingham and Cardiff other scum clubs. Millwall football club incite and encourage hooligan behaviour. Their entire marketing strategy and merchandise selections are based on their love for hooliganism. They refused to criticise their fans after the event. They made up lies to shift the blame onti Barnsley FC. I'm sorry but yes Millwall FC are to blame for the actions of their fans
I'm sure if this was fact then the club would have long been fined/penalised out of existence. I agree the club do not go out of their way to properly address the problem. I think this is impossible because this culture is deeply entrenched.
Facts are proven: you need to back this up with documentary evidence. Something like "millwall director applauds fans seen throwing seats at rivals". You don't seriously believe the millwall hierarchy revel in violence do you?
Fact: the manager defended it. Fact: their club blamed Barnsley fans and made up lies. Fact: they sell merchandise reveling in their reputation. Fact: they refused to answer my complaint regarding their fans behaviour.
Send your facts to the fotball association. And further ask why they continue to happily play in it's league year after year.
I think it's because they don't give a ****. Have a good day won't you. Pick up a couple of pennies for me please.
I'm absolutely certain i'll have a good day out. Been there before 20 odd years ago and had a memorable day out too. It's no where near as grim now, nothing could be as grim as cold blow lane.
The fa have no balls or morals that's why. Don't act like my facts are lies because you know they are true
Stop being a silly billy. The football league don't need millwall. They are not one of the 'massives': they are problematic. If the fa had just cause to properly penalise the club because of the actual club's actions then they would.
Can we boycott st Andrews aswell because in 2000 they got all angry after we hammered em 4 nil. And cab we boycott Cardiff some of their lot were tossers at wembley in 08. And leeds and wednesday because it's too dear an........ get a grip if you want to watch bfc go if you don't simple dont no boycott.
