    We didn't play particularly well but created plenty of chances. I can't remember Eric's goal just the relief we'd finally scored.

    You're probably right, old mate. The teacher would've been Miss Russell and it was at the old Green Road Junior School in Dodworth.

    I was on a hydrographic survey vessel somewhere off East Anglia. I remember trying to get the result on the ship's radio, but with no success.
