    I know. People pick and choose when to criticise or praise based on stats. The very same posters suggesting he has better pedigree than Payne or McBurnie would normally point to the fact he has failed in England before, has scored a few goals at very low level in Spain, then Romanian Sunday league, then French second tier.

    Don't think we'll be signing him mind. He's not the type of player we seem to look to recruit based on age, potential or resale value.

    Not really sure why you're arguing about a player we are not going to sign, but this Lopez scored 1 in 5 for Shrewsbury which is better than 2 in 12. While Payne was scoring 2 in 19 last season and McBurnie was doing whatever it is he was doing, Lopez was scoring at a rate better than one in two in the French second tier. Up to you who you think is better but I'm still laughing at your post saying the time was right to sign a 25 year old winger from Stockport County.

    Maybe he's referring to Denis Bouanga. I think there was a link to us recently. Apparently he's a midfield attacker/striker and was third highest scorer in the French L2 last year.
