I've just checked and from 2014 I found this: Barnsley Football Club today announced a significant extension to its commercial partnership with industrial recycling company CK Beckett. The Barnsley-based company has signed a home and away shirt deal which gets underway at the start of next season and runs until the end of the 2016/17 season Surely though if the home kit is on sale then they wouldn't have put an outdated sponsor on it?
Someone was telling me earlier that he'd asked Kev Beckett why they weren't on the shirt sponsor in Hungary when the other sponsors were on a he said he had no idea.
Maybe GG has come in, looked at the contracts and realised that they don't have anything in theirs that says the have to use their sponsorship in friendlies? (maybe the other sponsors do? Are CK Beckett the longest running kit sponsors we have? I think they are, maybe an old contract) Just me speculating, but it's the only thing I can think of
Not having the design to iron on the shirt seemed the more obvious one to me rather than pissing off a long time supporter/sponsor of the club But presumably its on the ones in the club shop? Are the same shirts used?
Im told theyre playing in the u23s kits hence no names and players wearing numbers that won't be allocated to them. Apparently 'the investment room' will sponsor the academy and under 23s. Sounds like they're waiting for the investment room shirt prints... still haven't arrived.
CK Beckett just entering their seventh consecutive season. Hayselden and ORA did six, with Hayselden doing two separate three year stints (81/82 to 83/84 and 91/92 to 93/94). Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
