    Has been on trial at Bristol City but has not been offered a contract.

    Apparently he is now a free agent as his contract has expired at Wycombe.

    Yeah Mawson watkins roberts brownhill and fletcher loans were all awful... conor Wilkinson was such a good signing though even Wilson thought so as he brought him to chesterfield after.

    What's your point? Mawson was a good signing (better player after Johnno left) so Joe Rothwell and Michael Smith were too?

    Some of lee jays signings were gash some were good same as Wilson same as hecky. Just hecky could get the best out of the players he had at his disposal. And how conor Wilkinson got a club after the spell with us I'll never know and how he continues to. Must be something special on the training ground.

    I thought I'm your mythical world tbe spreadsheet made all the signings and managers should get zero credit. Nor sure who Danny Wilson did or didn't sign impacts on Lee Johnson being one of tbe worlds worst managers.

    You focused on his bad signings I just pointed out he made some very good ones too shame he didn't have a clue about organising the players he had at his disposal because we should have walked that league with the squad we had that season.

    In all my years of watching Barnsley, very few managers have failed to make decent signings for the club as well as less than impressive ones. Even the worst ones (in my opinion) with John McSeveney, who signed Paddy Greenwood, and Nigel Spackman, who brought in Dean Gorre.:D
    Although I'm struggling with Steve Parkin!:D
