I'd probably prefer him too. Both are unproven at this level, but Ugbo has far more potential in my opinion.
A year ago we came up with a squad with little experience at this level. We sold a few of them in January and you're still moaning about it. We now get someone in as unproven in the Championship as Hourihan, Winnall and Bree were 12 months ago and you moan again. You've been moaning about the possibility of Yiadom leaving, Yiadom who 12 months ago had no experience at this level. The club isn't going to splash out big money on Championship experience. We'll carry on trying to develop what the club thinks are players who can make it at Championship level. Some will and some won't. Not that long ago Stones, Holgate and Mawson had no experience at Championship level but they've done ok at Premiership level since.
"Ugbo is the best talent to come out of our academy for years.Better than Solanke,Brown and Abraham etc"
Never heard of him but quite excited from what I've read, must be decent when fans of numerous other clubs are gutted to have missed out on him, our reputation for bringing players on is definitely getting a lot of recognition in the footballing world.
True- but doubt a team like Chelsea would benefit from recalling him with their title contending ambitions

He's not predictable and he does the unusual when defenders least expect him to. Marquis was at Millwall for 7 seasons and during that time he was loaned out to eight different Clubs some of who were in lower leagues to Millwall. I've seen him play and he looks a bit one dimensional and could struggle against better quality defenders. He's had one good season in League Two with Donny. Hecky must feel this lads better or he would probably have tried a bit harder to sign Marquis if indeed he ever did. If as is now being reported he's poised to sign a new contract with Doncaster it shows that the lad himself probably lacks ambition and the confidence to test himself at a higher level because I would think that we could exceed the total value of contract that Donny could provide for the right player.
My point was in regards to someone saying that the benefit of a loan is that we won't lose him in January if he bags 15 goals. If he does that, Chelsea could very easily recall him and sell him on. Ala Danny Drinkwater. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
Do I not like that. That's very similar to their articles on Hammill & Mawson after we won at Wembley.. money don't = class
