When fletch was with us last time his Dad who is a big influence on his son and if im not mistaken his main adviser was really impressed with not only the set up at Oakwell but he could not thank the club and its coaches enough, for the way they developed the way Ashley played. He was aware of the situation at the club re finance. Whilst i may be wide of the mark i would say that that alone would go along way and stand us in good stead when deciding where his son went next to help further his career and to some extent re launch him into either the shop window or help him claim ground hes seem to have lost whilst at West Ham...Previous post/ threads have already stated what seem to be the norm for parent clubs and the loan system wage structure to pick up most of the costs which i think the majority on here bought into ...so why all of a sudden are we questioning the validity of this...is it a case of now questioning that, so that by applying it to the fletch rumour / situation it gives more meat to the negativity of the counter argument hes not coming. I would say lets wait and see what takes place ..to some extent we have been pleasantly surprised by some of the past signings and i would say before the window closes we are in for a couple more pleasant surprises
How much of a say does the player have in a loan move. I would think his club is going to decide where he goes for the best.
Hes NOT coming here is he, most of us have known this from day 1. (when all the rumours first started) If and I say IF he does come here it will be even more big & shocking than Mido's waistline.
There's still a chance I think. He's not going to be first choice at West Ham - if Carroll is fit for the start of the season I reckon they'll loan him out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nothing, purely that tweet. I've confessed as much above. I've said from the start though that he won't be a Barnsley player again. I've read things in the past that suggest West Ham like to loan out players whilst footing as little of the cost themselves as possible. Even if he's on £7,000 as rumoured, I can't see us footing the majority of that for a loan player. And he's certainly not coming back on a permanent transfer. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
I definitely think that is the transfer we are waiting for.Aunautavic (spelling) and little pea was what the hold up was .Think he will be a BFC player on Monday
I think it's pretty obvious he'll go out on loan but I'm not convinced it'll be to us. Would be nice though.
He started and got a goal & an assist in 45mins in their friendly the other day, which doesn't help if we're trying to get him in.
That's it then. Done deal. Seriuously though, seems a lot of things still need to fall in to place for us to have a chance. Not getting my hopes up. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
Agree, it seems too good to be true, we don't end up with players like him usually, certainly not twice. But I've heard if it's a loan deal, it's to us & I hope to god it's true. As a club with no money we could end up with a strike force worth millions.....
There does seem to be a few rumours flying around that that's the case so here's hoping. Prospect of him and the chelsea lad up front is a bloody exciting one. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
