That aside, what if you have no one to share the ticket with? Flexi-tickets seem a fair deal for those who can't commit to a season ticket.

Never been convinced why people who have season tickets want everyone else to have them. Clearly they work for some people and not for others. All ticketing options should be made available at the same time so people can choose.

This season if they are made available I will buy a flexi ticket. I don't want a season ticket. I have no work excuse I just don't want one. I don't have tbe time or energy for 23 matches at Oakwell. Match day prices are too high to justify so I won't pay 'walk up prices'.

You are missing the point. The rules state they are not transferable - of course people do lend them to people but technically they are breaking the terms of sale and could actually have it revoked. What happens if the person they lend it to is identified as causing trouble for example

The fact that you can get away with it isnt an argument for saying the club shouldnt produce flexi tickets for those who can only attend 5 to 10 games a season but should buy a season ticket and sell it on

Exactly. Why on earth would you against flexi-tickets by advocating the sharing of season tickets. Bonkers.

Start saving earlier then. Or there are other options available...

Read all the posts. It's nothing to do with saving earlier.

The Flexi ticket idea was put to the board from this BBS, plenty of other clubs do it. And from the feedback from the club was that it was a great success better than the half season ticket.

It's making the point that a season ticket holder is just one type of customer. It appears that some people need reminding of that.

    Excuse me
Flexi tickets are for people like me who can only get to around 5 or 6 home games a season because i am roted to work most weekends ( nhs tha knows saving lives)
So it's got nowt to do with picking and choosing.
    Ok.
