Fletcher on his own isn't the answer

    What happens if we sign him and then he gets injured?
    We need at least 3 more strikers.
    And I would say we need 3 more fast wingers.
    There's a lot of matches to get through up to the next transfer window in January.
    We need as much cover as possible in ALL positions.

    We'll signed 4 more players I think. Two strikers (one of those will be perm) and two wingers.

    So 3 more loans and one perm

    Strikers - Bradshaw + Payne + Ugbo + 3 others.
    Wingers - Isgrove + 3 others with Hammill on the bench as an impact player.
    We need at least another 6.
    I think 4 is leaving things a bit too light.

    Arrrrrr but!!!

    What I'm reading from reports is - at the moment we have potentially got one or maybe two strikers Brown and maybe Ugbo.
    People are saying Bradshaw and Payne are not up to Championship level.
    Although I liked what I saw of Payne before he got injured.

    But what happens if these reports are correct and what happens if both the ROOKIES Brown and Ugbo are also found that they just can't quite hack it at Championship level?
    Which is quite easily possible.

    If you don't know - then I'll tell yer what happens - we get matches that look like, and results like, the one against Hudders.
    That is to say - we see plenty of the ball but lose one nil.

    Then we see reports starting to appear on here - saying things like this: I don't know how we lost that, we slaughtered them for 80 minutes but we just didn't manage to score.

    Remember if we don't get it right - then it's going to have to wait until January before we can change it - by then it could be too late to try and turn things around.

    Hecky needs as many striker and winger options open to him RIGHT NOW.
    Hopefully some of those options will come good.

    Patrick, are you sure Paul?, cos earlier you said you were happy with the squad,
    Hecky, well to be honest pat it never entered my head that we needed further striking options but after reading the Bbs I've realised the error of my ways,

    I'm not posting this to Hecky.
    I'm posting this to all those on here that are saying that the answer to our striker problems start and end with the signing of Fletcher. It dosent.

    I can guarantee that if Hecky was given the option he would bring 3 more strikers in and 3 more wingers in.
    We currently have:
    Good goalkeepers.
    Solid defence.
    Plenty of options in midfield.
    Very very lightweight strike force.

    The more striker options available - the more chance there is of getting the best blend of players - and from that the right result.
