Looks like you have decided for me, how presumtious. I think we should have bought a far better scoreboard than the one we have. We have a fan that decided to plough his money into the club though and i would suggest that gives him the right to spend it where he sees fit.
It would be interesting to see why our commercial team thought 'its just a ******* scoreboard' while Sheffield united, Wednesday, Rotherham, chesterfield, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Leeds united and Bradfords commercial teams all saw the potential in it and all commissioned large screen, revenue generating boards. But you're right, it's just a ******* scoreboard.
If he is the only one spending his money on the club then of course he has the right to do what he wants and while we can comment it carries no weight. Do i think this is the way i would run a club, absolutely not. I have been an advocate for a more involved board of directors but unless there are others who want to or allowed to but in then we are where we are. We have to be pleased with having someone committed to the club but there will have to be big changes in the near future.
Its hard to hold a reasoned debate these days on here despite me agreeing we should have a bigger scoreboard, especially with my eyesight. But yes my net assets give me the right to continue my point !!
No it doesn't. There are no adverts or sponsors for the board. We pay a company to run it on match days. It loses us money each week
For what? Your attitude is that unless you have the money to personally invest then you aren't entitled to an opinion.
