2 games in the day but 45 minutes.

    Villa vs MSV
    Hertha vs Malaga.

Villa won it. 45-minute games. Villa played two elevens.

Hourihane played in the first game.

Bree in the second. Bree looked very good at right back for the start then at centre back when Richards got injured. Again on here, people were slagging him off yesterday or friday, But watching him you can see he's a step above anything we've got.

They look to have a very good squad.

Got a lot of strength in depth if the better players click they'll be there or there abouts.

7/1 favourites for title , enough players to field two teams .

Can see why. Going to be interested who they play. For me and some won't like it on here but Hourihane doesn't play. Really can't see him getting into that midfield. Lansbury looked on another level today.

I'd have him back here if he can't get in the Villa side.

He's good and I'd have him back. But if you think he's better than Yiadom, you're away with the fairies.

Villa have plenty of midfielders, and doesn't Bruce favour five at back

Typically unbiased stuff form the hemster.

"Hourihane played in the first game" then a full paragraph of blowing up "the West Yorkshire full backs" arse to follow.

I said I'd have him back on loan a few days ago if yids went. I think yids is infront of him atm and it's hard to argue any diffrent. I'd have him back because you know what your getting good at going forward not as good defensively but will only improve with game time. And better full back than the 2 loanees we had last season.

The leading assist maker in the division last season doesn't get into their side? Hmm

Are you telling me you've spent 90 minutes of your day watching Aston Villa play friendlies? Hasn't the sun been out there today?

Hourihane will start more games for Aston Villa this season than James Bree.

Yiadom is currently a better right back than Bree. Bree may be better in the future but right now he's not.

We will see. Bree's miles ahead of Yiadom. Been watching him a lot in pre season and he's making plenty of mistakes. Not sure Bree made one in either position today.

On who plays more. You Steve Bruce with that certainty.

I like Bree , but Yiadom has looked diff class in last two friendlies. Can see why Huddersfield are after him

There's a reason there's premier league interest in Yiadom whereas Bree went to Villa...

Bree turned down bigger clubs that flipping Huddersfield FFS.

Well, I thought I'd done **** all useful today but at least I can say I didn't waste any of it watching a team I don't support or have any affinity to whatsoever play two totally meaningless halves of quasi-football just so I could start a thread on here bum-licking an ex-player who couldn't give two hoots for us now whilst irrationally continuing an obsessive victimisation of the division's best full back, a full international and one of our own.

Did he really? You must have been livid that he went to the same club as Hourihane even though Hourihane is **** and Bree is the bestest player ever ever ever
