He has scored five league and cup goals. Three of which were a hat trick. He scored five in the Conference.
I'm happy with our signings despite the fact that of those signed last year few succeeded it's still the right policy. At the same time being 100 percent reliant on 2 midfielders in a pivotal position with almost no competitive games and no guidance from anyone who has is a recipe for disaster. We need more strength in depth in this position. Last season with Conor/Morsy and Scowen you had young players but also players who had nearly 400 games between them. It's a big difference.
Last season he scored 23 goals in the EPL 2 and when started against Peterborough away in the Checkatrade he had 2 goals & an assist by half time (you should watch the highlights of this). Wiki stats might not show it but to me that shows he knows where the back of the net is!
He's featured six times for Swansea' s first team in the League and Cup as well and has been involved in their USA pre-season tour. It's immaterial how good or otherwise he might be because it's looking increasingly likely now that the Swans are going to hold on to him.!
It's looking likely unfortunately that our strongest 11 isn't going to be on the pitch till September. It must be really frustrating for hecky to be playing these friendly games without 3or 4 players he knows the club desperately need.
Get them told Conan, we should not be looking at players if they have not played at least 150 league games by the age of 18, or the minimum price of £1 million on a permanent 6 year contract .
I was joking mate just sick of seeing the same no.experience comments every time we are linked with players. Over the past 3/4 seasons I've seen players with experience come here and failed (jennings lita treacy nytanga turnbull ect) we have seen players with no experience fail (kimwomya Wilkinson Crowley ect) we have seen players with no experience come and flourish ( roberts yiadom george williams macdonald). I'd like to think people will judge the players on performance in the championship and not on how many league games they have played before a ball has been kicked. I'd like mcburnie to sign just for the record.
I didn't single them out I used them as part of experienced players who came and failed. Or can we only use Dan Crowley and Connor Wilkinson?
Is there a list of players we're not allowed to name when making a point? Lita & Treacy are obviously on it, so what about Kayden Jackson, Shaun Tuton, Elliot Lee, Conor Wilkinson, Dan Rowley? Or is it a one sided argument, as there never seems to be an issue if the players in the second batch are mentioned?
I just like playing ******** bingo. We could name 200 experienced players who we signed and were pretty good. Neil Redfearn and Ronnie Glavin for example. To use the same 2 examples time and time is to ignore all the good players we have signed over the years so find it to did it pretty poor to be honest. Maybe some more ammo. Andy Blair he was crapola.
Why not use Ronnie Glavin or Ashley Ward or Neil Redfearn or Ian Evans or Jan Aage or Paul Wilkinson or Paul Futcher or Ray McHale or John.Mackem or Brian Joicey. To exemplify. ******** bingo it is. I claim my 6ft Toblerone
I totally agree. However, if you're doing that with the experienced players, then surely to offer balance, it ought to be done with those we've signed who have lacked experience, too?
