No offence to you personally squire, but that's an idiotic comment. There's a team with four players with recent experience at Premier League clubs and the team looks balanced overall and consistent with Hecky wanting to know where he stands with our squad, and also to get minutes into the players' legs. I'd expect us to win this match handsomely with that side, albeit it won't be the end of the world if we don't.
Serious"Scott, post: 1992775, member: 7215"]Weak as piss. No permanent transfers in over 3 weeks. Is it time to panic? *serious replies only.[/QUOTE] Seriously then.....do you think that's the team he's planning to start at Bristol? If it is I'll panic with you. Alternatively I'll just assume he's giving players game time.
Stick in Davies, Angus, Yids and Moncur and thats our strongest 11 for me. Brown the best performing striker in pre season so far. Has to start.
Do we ever win handsomely in pre-season? I agree with the latter statement, although it would be nice for the new side to get into the habit of winning.
Reece Brown starts for Rochdale and Jim Mcnulty amongst sub's for them. I hear that Matt Done is on his way back there from blunts as well.
Yes - we really should be winning this handsomely! I'm surprised King Keith hasn't tried to re-sign Machiavelli yet.
Trying a new striking combo too. Bradshaw our most established/senior, with Brown whose been giving his all this pre-season. Should be good supply from both wings too.
Decent side but not the strongest we have available which is no bad thing. If it shows anything it's that we're not going to play 4-5-1 very often if at all this season. I've seen us v Guiseley, Coventry and Huddersfield and we looked far better in the latter two when playing 4-4-2, even despite our limited options up front which will hopefully be rectified soon
