My guess was that brap brapping involved aggressive use of a vehicle horn - beep beeping with extra menace.
The coppers should concentrate on the rise of the "OSA" graffiti around the town centre, buildings are getting covered in it yet they've still not caught them. They could also put some time into the rise of town centre shop burglaries.. Jocks Cavern, Irish Bar, Shake, Woodys, Pinocchio (twice), Sarah's flowers & teas (numerous times) off the top of my head - I'm guessing the cameras are off due to budget cuts? No point building a new town centre while this is going on.
The new town centre will be a magnet for them. It won't take long for it to be looking as shabby as the old town centre does.
I noticed last week that one of the charity shops on New Street - I think it was Age UK- was shut as it had been broken into. I wonder what the proceeds were from breaking into a charity shop in Barnsley. It would have to be brainless scrubbers to think a job like that was worth doing.
They've broken into a lot of shops and just taken the charity boxes. When Woody's was broken into that's all they took, he caught the suspects on his own CCTV and put it on social media, like a few of the others have done. The police came with a crime number and that's all they did, a few weeks later the owner of Woody's saw the scruffy little sh*ts in one of the amusements and followed them himself whilst calling the police to tell them to come and arrest them. And these are still on the run, this "tag" as recently appeared on the side of the new Lidl building and other walls around town. http://www.barnsleychronicle.com/article/police-hunt-for-graffiti-culprits Excellent policing.
Unless its serious or some comment on social.media i dont think the police give a toss outside of lip service.
The chronicle. Link I didn't realise the had different graffiti. Genres. Theses days. I that it was all just vandalism
