And there are many on this board - are those who moan about the repetition, complain about the complainers, or bleat about the fact that topics they want to discuss aren't raised. They contribute nothing. I'm seen as a moaner and that's fine by me - and I'm happy to be challenged on my opinions. It's the point of the board. However, the most miserable chuffs are those who don't do this. They just moan without offering an alternative view. Bit boring really. There's a magic button on here that says "create a new thread". Some on here should try clicking it once in a while.
When someone moans about the lack of funds we are spending and then someone jumps on and starts going on about if we spend £2/£3 million on a player we'll be in administration in no time, like that's the only option - spend nowt or spend beyond our means, no middle ground.
So, let's get this right, to raise your dissatisfaction with the posters who moan and complain about the moaning and complaining, you write a post moaning and complaining about it. Ok
Dunt gi' a chuff really. Maybe these people have nothing to say. Makes no difference to me. I was just trying to help them out.
I do see your point actually. I do think you, Nudger, some others are overly negative, I'd say young Nudger is more repetitive than you, but if I do say so I at least try and offer an alternative view. That's what this forum is for, there's no point whining about someone's view if you have no view of your own.
I'd like to raise a complaint against people constantly complaining about others complaining about their complaints.
The ones who say 'pay for it yourself' whenever you suggest that the club who has recently sold assets for millions and millions of pounds shouldn't do things on the cheap and buy substandard products that aren't fit for purpose.
Are the ones who use a little thing like living in another country as an excuse not to go every week. Part timers
Agreed. Said same to one joker on here only a few days ago. Nowt to say - but jump on the backs of others that have. It's not just on here tho - it's in life in general.
You have quite often responded to posters that if they dont like what you post either don't read it or just click ignore. Why not just follow your own advice ?
The worst are the snipers. The ones who can't wait for someone, anyone to post anything. Then jump in and tell them they're wrong, wrong, wrong!! And even if the poster's post can't be pulled apart for its content, it'll be flagged up on a spelling mistake or poor punctuation.
In my view everyone is perfectly entitled to an opinion and it wouldn't do for us all to agree with each other because irrespective of the topic we can all perceive matters in a different way. So long as postings are honest, constructive and respectful, I find they can be thought provoking and in some cases when in possession of facts I was previously unaware of, I personally have changed my opinions on some things. We all have a common interest re- the welfare and success of Barnsley Football Club. Some of the things I read on the board much to concern of my wife have caused me to laugh out loud but when a "string" descends to the level of unpleasantness and name calling, for me that's a cue to sign out and find something else to do.
I love diversity of opinion, and most of all I like people who have a range of opinion, are willing to change their opinion, and those who can acknowledge a view such a view has changed. Those who are silent when things are good or positive, but bitch moan and whinge when times are not so good... I have zero time for.
