Only if we decide to sell him presumably...

Yeah, I'd love Yiadom to stay but I just can't see it, unfortunately. I imagine we'll cash in this week.

Which comments are these? All I've seen him say is "never say never" when asked if there will be any more signings.

Wagner was previously quoted as saying they were finished in the transfer market. He's now saying "never say never", as you say. Those comments, Yiadom's rumoured request to leave and our supposed interest in Lolley makes me think that's there's a deal to be done. Could be wrong, I hope I am.

Now being reported they have upped bid to £2 million

Ah right, put into the context of his previous comments I can see where you're coming from. If it is going to be done, rather sooner than later.

Its clear that Yiadom wants to move and who can blame him . Whether it's Swansea or Huddersfield he's going to be playing in the premier league . As much as I hate flogging our best players I think we've got to let him go .

Keep him unless we get daft money. He's got to keep playing well to earn a move next summer and his wages will be pittance at this level I bet. He could be the difference between going down and staying up this year if he plays like last season.

If he wants to go..... let him! Every player dreams of playing in the premier.
My only gripe would be that we don't get our pants pulled down!
A good quality championship full back is hard to come by! For me I'd be setting the asking price at £4m, plus add-ons. He is worth that to most teams in the championship, so the big money in the Prem would be pittance to them!.

    Still not enough IMO

We have to not accept low bids or the recent upsurge in fees received (or reported fees as we never get told) will dwindle down back to the dons level.

    Simple as that

Agree we received £1.4 million for Carl Tyler in 1991 these teams are getting 99 million for finishing last in the prem, we need to slap 10 million tag on any player wanted by a premier league club.

There needs to be some middle ground as unfortunately, like it or not, a lot of players use our club as a stepping stone to the Premier League or elsewhere. Players know that if they sign for us, play week in week out and perform well then they're in the shop window and have an opportunity to further their career. If we set our stall out to the effect that we reject all bids under £X then we could miss out on the player in the first place as they know that clubs will be reluctant to pay for their services. It's a fine balance.

We should slap a silly price on him to keep him, knowing that clubs will be back in for him come January. At that point those clubs looking to strengthen their squads to gain promotion or avoid relegation will be more desperate and hopefully more ready to pay a daft price. In the meantime we can be playing him and be looking at getting a promising full back replacement in from elsewhere for when he goes.

Of course I'd prefer him to stay but we know he's going to go.

    I'm aware of that.

Just using it as a timeframe note

Honestly I would've been okay with losing either one of Roberts or Yiadom but not both. In my opinion I would have sold Yiadom and kept Roberts.

Now that isn't an option we need to demand at least 4 mill for Yiadom if we are to sell. I'd rather let his contract run out at this point or if we are relatively safe by Xmas then sell him at a cut rate if he still won't sign extension
