I'm missing in action on a family holiday for a couple of weeks, but could I wish all those who are travelling to Bristol tomorrow a safe journey there and back, and a decent result. I'm fairly relaxed about the season ahead, although in no doubt that it'll be tougher this time, and can't see us getting a strong start like we did last season. Let's play our part by getting behind the lads, Hecky etc, especially when they're on the pitch. By all means let's grumble, groan, question, debate when things aren't going as we want, but I suspect some of these lads will really need us behind them when they're out on the pitch, particularly if were struggling after 10 games or so. Got to say I've enjoyed the football-less three months, although had unexpected family illness to deal with, still on going, but my sense of excitement and blind optimism is now back. Come on you Reds.
Yep may I say thank you in advance to all those with the time faith and courage to support the reds on the road, be it (like me) every now and then, or whenever and wherever, through to total commitment. Those who make the away day sacrifice time after time are the true warriors. I salute you.
Agreed. Now let the roller-coaster of the journey commence. Best of luck at Bristol today. I'm at Inverness for our opener. 2k Arabs making the trip so not lacking support. All up to the players now. An Arab / Tyke double will do nicely.
