.......we start this season well down the grid - because we have not just a new team to build - we have got a brand new squad to build. So expect a slow start.
Just remember this thread. A few of us have been warning the happy clappers. Things will get better. Problem has been we haven't been able to get the players in as soon as we should have.
Happy with 3-1 ....... as things could have been much worse. We need Canny Ganaye to be putting some overtime shifts in now to make sure we get players in - sharpish
I think happy is the wrong adjective Nudger! How can anyone be happy to lose 3-1. Better second half gives something to build on.
Aye - I see what yer mean. Watching Sky Sport and was sat there dreading Sterling saying - there's been another goal at Ashton Gate
I was in the middle of nowhere and all 3 goals came in at once! From 0-0 to 3-0 in a couple of seconds.
Most of us expected a loss today, and a 3-1 deficit was also widely tipped in a separate thread. When they scored thre quick goals it looked like we could collapse. But we didn't. Did Bristol take their foot off the gas? Maybe. Did Hecky dish out some half time roastings? Probably. Exactly this time last season we had zero points and -2 goal difference and we didn't just crumble then. Injured players waiting in the wings to give us a boost. And knackers to the tin pot cup on Tuesday, let's focus on next Saturday.
